You would most certainly die alright.
Let's say that the platform is falling at 100kph. This means that to counter the force and speed that you are falling at, you would have to jump up at the same speed (100kph) or more. If we say that a normal ground jump is at a speed of 10kph then on a platform falling at 100kph that speed is greatly reduced because of the speed you are dropping at meaning that you will still be falling at around 90 to 100kph. In other words you just might have another milisecond to see your life flash by you before you actually hit hehe.
