I picked up most of my English by watching a lot of films and Discovery,from English lessons starting halfway primary school and still going on, an older brother and more holidays in Great-Brittain than I can remember. Books (mostly fantasy) helped a lot too.

As to the accent, I count myself lucky I'm not one of those people who pronounce 'this' as 'zis'. I've got a reasonable variety of accents I can switch to, and I'm currently working on my 'Connery' accent (love the way Sir Sean speaks http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif)

I was born and raised in England, although my parents are dutch and I have a dutch passport. So I guess you could say I've cheated http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...les/tongue.gif
