Kinslayer, the antagonistic behavior online seems to come in waves. There was a huge wave on and after Sept 11, which finally died down, then when the airstrikes started in Afghanistan this past weekend, another huge "wave" of antagonism and negativity has flooded the board.

It comes down to two things:

<h1>Politics</h1>
<h3>and</h3>
<h1>Religion</h2>

which most people's momma's taught them NEVER to discuss in public. I think if you look at the antagonist threads in question, those two subjects are at the root of all the fracas.

Um, because it's hysterical? Because it makes some valid points about how argument, rather than debate, works? Just for the hell of it?
