Sorry, Fljotsdale and Link! http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...es/biggrin.gif Bodacious (Bo-DAY-shus) is a "southernism" meaning something really, really, really outstanding...not necessarily good or bad. You can have a bodacious plate of barbecue in front of you (definitely par excellence) or have someone tell you a bodacious piece of gossip (the really juicy variety)...or in this case, have a bodacious storm sweep in on you (like you haven't seen in quite some time and leaves you wondering if there'll be anything left afterward).

Cheers!

It's not that southernese, I knew what it was: it's a combination of bold and audacious. However, it's meaning is limited to excellence, outstanding and daring (so basicly, positive) http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif

So I'm not sure it could be used to describe a Thunderstorm... but I sure got the impression that it was a real BIG one.

Got me worried too, but if you gave the disks a good fix-up that's always welcome http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif
