Just a minor correction, it only requires +1 enchanted or better blunt weapons.

Try using the Flail of Ages +3 but like they say is immune to all but +4, you'll get the Flail of Age +5 in Throne of Bhaal

Admantine Golems only require +3 enchanted or better weapons in order to be hit. The only significant difference between the Admantine Golem and the Iron Golem, is that the Admantine Golem has a much superior damage resistance.

Clay Golems require +1 enchanted or better blunt weapons.

Lesser Clay Golems can be hit with anything.

Brain Golems are the same as Clay Golems if I recall correctly.

Sand Golems and Stone Golems require +2 enchanted or better weapons.

Iron Golems and Admantine Golems require +3 enchanted or better weapons.

You ain't KIDDIN'!

I am in Suldenessular and they are friggin everywhere. I can only guess it's because I am such a high level (Fighter-9/Thief-26) and the game is adjusting the difficulty to make it more "challenging" for me. They are kickin my arse, and it's all wide open. I mean, I'm ok with taking out 2 or 3 of them *pant* but this is ridiculous. Mass invisibilty and haste are my 2 best friends right now... run Run RUN!!!

I beg to differ my friend... if you are of high level... say around 25(or so i belive its that level...) the game throws more enimies AND more powerful enimies. Read my prievious thread LICHES!!!! EVERYWHRE LICHES!!! it gives you a good idea.

And i THOUGHT it was +3 enchantment or better for those golems! ;)

Also its not just super enemies like liches and its not just really high levels... if you are a level 16 instead. If you come to a battle made for a level 11 or so it may be with regular shadows, and lets say there are 11 of them. With that level 16 you instead have to fight shadow fiends... maybe 10 of them and maybe even five or so shadows to boot! The game does this because in the game you can do any battle at any time (almost) and they have to make sure you get a even challenge.

WHEW! man i'm long winded. :D :D
