this sort of thing seems to be happening all the time, and just makes you despair of people. for every person who is prepared to do something good it seems there are sevreal who get a pathetic feeling of power out of this kind of thing.

Not really. If anything, Thomas needs time to breathe.

Check here, guys.

According to Thomas Abrahamsson, Elfwood WILL be back...there's just going to be a LOT of changes in their policy.

I've had a talk with some folk and that is absolutely right. Elfwood will be back, although a specific time hasnt been decided upon. Those changes WILL be implemented fully before going back thought.

Why in the world would you send death threats to elf wood? I have no idea what happened there and would appreciate it if someone filled me in. Why do people always do their best to ruin a good thing?

An artist posted some fanart (which is not permitted due to potential legality trouble). The art was removed and two hooligans threatened Thomas about it.

But it really is better if you saw what happened for yourself:

As far as I can tell, Adam, it will be back. How long before that is, and in what form it shall return in, I have no idea.

Yes, once upon a time, there was a wonderful land called "The Internet": a world where people from all walks of life and from around the world could share knowledge, information, talent, and experience. But evil entered into this land and corrupted it, and sent those who chose to share in its wonders scurrying for cover.

I guess it's up to us to write the ending to this story...either that or accept the demise of a once-great world.
