Heh.. we tried to download a demo straight away, but apparantly there is none. That movie was the funniest thing I've seen in ages, btw. :D
|
Wow. That's bad. But i'd prefer to see less of that dude in the demo. They only touched on a little of what makes it truly awful.

Wow. And I thought LoTR: 3rd Age was bad.

Yes... horrendous. Tsktsktsk it's like donating to charity... you just feel this "kindness" flowing through your veins. You know the game's busted yet you persist... ahaha :D

Oh, so I thought I should report my review upon receiving the game...
Well, couldn't bring my self to open it. The box has so far sustained my giggling for the past few weeks. It looks like any game box that you'd get. I has a police car crashing into a big ol' truck with a big ol' explosion. It's so enticing. The back tells of features like: * 4 BIG RIG trucks with trailers (invisible trailers) * 4 unique routes including: Desert, Forest, Plains, and Cites (gee, it *includes* all four of the four in that list? what else might it include inside... oh, nothing. I get it now...) * Daytime and Nighttime driving will challenge even the most experienced trucker (you can tell it's night because your head lights are on) * 1000s of miles of highways and byways across America (even 1000s of miles of non-ways across empty, white space!) * 3 levels with a variety of wicked challenges including the ultimate traffic stopper... a police road block (the ultimate traffic stopper: CTD!) I can imagine the last meeting of the development team "Well, we have to ship this incomplete trash in 3 days; what should we spend our remaing time on? ... the box! Excellent..." Maybe I'll get a chance this weekend to actually open up the box. I'll return here when I do. BTW: The review I was talking about above is at: http://www.gamespot.com/pc/driving/b...html?id=194751 jason. |
On further inspection, the explosion on the cover isn't that big; it's more like flames coming from running into that police car.
But, I understand now what is going on with the game. You see, you know how you'll be playing a game in some sort of a vehicle and you bang that vehicle all up, but you don't really care because you made it to the next level? Well this game is what happens after! It explains the missing trailer (it got all burned up). It explains the messed up steering (needs repairs). It explains going through things (your a GHOST TRUCK!). That's it! They should have named the game "Ghost Truck!" Then all of the non-clipping would be a feature! jason. |
