Xbox live in England is £40, for 1 year subscription and the headset.

Some games come with a headset, such as Rainbox Six 3 etc.

I'm hoping to get it soon, but my dad can't be bothered running another cable from upstairs to downstairs (router to TV)

last I heard, it was like a 25-30 dollar a month thing; with a two month free if you subscribe a year or longer. I just found where my post was moved to, since I mis-posted it in the first place. When I get online, I'll definately give everyone the heads up on my name and group (we sit around 4 player split screen and shoot each other right now, but I wanna get online (BAD!!!)where we can't have our opponents look at our screen to see where we are)

any halo 2 players know any hidden secrets in the game? I was shown one recently where the programmers hid a giant soccer ball in the city. And supposedly you can hijack the scarab (giant robot spider thingy), but I haven't figured out how yet.
