Yeah i think i shall trie intall the 1.10 when my Druid is at level 80 or something hehe :D

I've been playing 1.10 for sometime now and have had no problems with it. I have a lvl 75 paladin who is in hell Act II. I haven't noticed the fire enchanted bug as I rather avoid those or let the barbarian mercenary take in the killing blow. I also avoid Lightning Enchanted's as they react rather agressively to my zeals. I also never use prayer as I find it a waste of a skillpoint. I rather go for amulets, rings or gloves with mana steal.

The fire enchanted bug is fixed on Bnet. and also the prayer bug I think.
My biggest complain? Guided Arrow don't pierce anymore!!! |
When you say the bugs are fixed on Bnet, do you mean that when you play on Bnet they are not a problem or is there some kind of mini-patch that they apply to the game?

well sort of.

Okay that clarified something... I thought the update was bnet only and when you returned to single player the bug would come crawling back...

Ok, so it auto-updates automatically when I log in? Would I notice anything and does it tell me that it's updating? Cuz I just created an account on Battlenet and didn't notice any kind of update message.

It doesn't tell you anything. Since I'm on dialup I can notice something is going on since the verrying version session is kinda longer than usual.
Bahamut- try going to a fire enchanted monster and see whether the bug is still there. |
about prayer in 1.10, i noticed the mana drain too. but to get around it take advantage of the synergies. the skill below prayer (i've forgotten the name) - to reduce poison length, has a synergy with prayer. you get the healing of prayer without the mana drain.

Well, I didn't notice any change in the mana drain after logging on to battle.net
I will check out your work-around Betelgeuse. Didn't know the synergies worked that way. Chances are the mana drain was something the programming team overlooked. Forgot to adjust it so that it doesn't deduct mana when HP is full. |
