Okay then fair enough. BTW I actually thought BG:Dark Alliance was okay actually, in short bursts anyway although it has to be said it's not any were near as good as BG2:Shadows of Amn which is amazingly good.

well this is because most people didnt like ffx
It obviously depends on your personal opinion, but you can't ignore that FFX has sold millions of copies around the world, and in Australia, gone platinum. Try looking at some FFX reviews on the net, I'll bet that nearly all the sites have rated the game over 9.0 or 90%. It's a great game.

instead of a sequal for 10 you not a masterpiece like ff7 or ff9 these game were great but a sequal for 10 i dont know...
A valid point, but Square-Enix have already stated that remaking or making a sequel to FFVII, would be time consuming, difficult, and the burden of creating a superior game to the "all ready superior FFVII" would be an impossible task.

They realized this mistake and then chose to use sex appeal to sell the game.
Sex appeal, maybe, but I think the main reason of creating a sequal to FFX was to conclude the story. Perhaps Kakero could answer that one.

(Dead or Alive: Extreme Volleyball- Now that is a game based on sex appeal )

sure people bought it no getting around that but did they like it is the question.

Ill probably play the sequel. I played the first one just because it was final fantasy. Unlike alot of people I really like final fantasy. But I think maybe they should have made a sequel to one of the older ones. You know spoof up the graphics and stuff. I think that would be neat.

Are you serious?

Those reviews were done by 546 different people with the average score being 4.42/5. Don't you think that shows that the majority of people liked FFX?

majority of the sample population that is...

perhaps the people in the sample are FF fanatics... can't cross out that possibility... I hope though that they got people who hated it and are neutral about it..

either way FFX makes me wish that I had a PS2 and play the crap out of it... :(

True, but some of the reviews, are quite critical and point out minor flaws.

Take FFVIII for example. Many Final Fantasy fanatics all over the world heavily criticised the game because of it's controversial Draw system and lengthy GF summons. These topics are clearly cited and discussed in the reviews. If you read through the FFX reviews you will notice that some of the starting lines do state:

I'm not really a fan of the Final Fantasy series but FFX....

and...

Role-Playing Games aren't my forte, but FFX.....

Not all the reviews are written by FF fanatics, as I have trawled through many of them which state their ignorance to FF in general.

However, I know what you mean by fanatic, with some of the reviews all being written in caps,

"OMG TIS GAME IS L33T RPGNESS WTF YUNA IS DA BOMB."

clearly being written with the excitement of the game still in their minds.

If you overlook these reviews, you will find many well-written and truthful articles concerning not only FFX, but all games on every system.

(I don't work for Videogamereview.com honest :D )

If you view polls about the popularity of a game, which rate the game very high and you read all the reviews of a game which say it is very good and then you still doubt wether the majority of the people who bought and played the game actually liked the game, then you should consider not reading anymore reviews/polls or whatever anymore, because you are already prejudiced to disregard them as non-conclusive *pant* *pant* ......
