Now my turn i guess. Yes necros are great but i use summons to do the dirty trick
The assassin, thats a real gem esp. the firewall and inferno trap, the 2nd and 3rd acts were a breeze with me and my shadow casting a whole lot of those pesky traps. Trying out the druid now, seems to easy to play with, will write back on it later. |
250-in official dueling poison-charm ama's are illegal. Same with buri weilding, shaft wearingg ones.

It is 25% damage now. I post on the Diabloii.net Necromancer Forum, and there are a lot of fanatics there. Interestingly enough, Poison Nova ignores the PvP damage penalty. It can be fun to reduce your opponent to 1Hp then finish him/her off with Teeth, yes, TEETH. http://www.plauder-smilies.de/rotfl.gif
Necromancers built for PvP do not use Iron Golems against Bowazons as no matter how much Golem Mastery you invest in, the Bowazon will always be faster. The number one tactic against Bowazons are Invisible Bone Spirits( IBS). Iron Golems are king against monsters and ignorant newbies, not smart players. Clay Golem is the preferred PvP Golem of choice, as they are cheap to cast and opponents cannot leech back much life from them. Their sole purpose is to take stray hits. As for my item of choice for IGs, I like to use PDiamond-socketed Paladin Shields to grant the IG elemental immunity. :D Baal can kiss my IG's perky metal ass, since most of his attacks are elemental in nature. |
poison and shatf illegal? whatever you are talking abt
Iron golem is definately gooddy, you cast it right next to the amazon, he cannot run away that fast a good amazon NEVER die from invisible bonespirit. Mutishot's range is way too far than bonespirit. I played an amazon before (I build my only one amazon) he sucked, only had buriza and other crappy ama items, but with a lil practice, no necromencor can kill her, with long distance fight, that is. because mutishot goes way further than bonespirit |
The point of IBS is that they cannot be seen. What you cannot see, you cannot run away from. To defend against Guided Arrows and Multishot, the Necromacer can either outrun them( yes, it can be done) or use the corner box method while mass firing IBSs.
Assuming Lady Luck shines on you, and there happens to be a valid item right next to the Amazon for you to cast Iron Golem, there is still the warm-up factor. IG takes about 2 seconds to move after casting, which by then the Amazon would be several screens away already. |
amazon wont be able to move when he is shooting, if u cast really close... who knows, no one's ever maxed these stats and use them in duel.
and on invisible bone spirt... yeah, it works, but a good amazon, like I said, excells at running, will give you no chance. if you try to cast bonespirit, his mutishot can hit you, and his guided arrow can hit u at approximately same distance as well, that leaves a necro basically no chance. so ... run in, (let amazon run first, then close in) and finish is the only way I deem possible. and I've done it many times |
This might prove an interesting read.

this guy made a few mistakes. first the amazon does not follow the necromencer, after getting hit by one BS, only newbie or extremely arrogant/confident amazons do.
second, the good amazons ALWAYS come off-screen, and shoot Ga at an angle that is hardest for necromencors to predict GA can become invisble like bonespirit. GA has longer range, and GA does more dmg at a faster speed. so, lets put it this way, a player that excels at using BS can rock with GA easily over other players. remember my cheap amazon? I used her to kill amazons with windforce, with 70% physical dmg reduce (of course, the odds were like 1:3). but my amazon's items sucked. the trick is very simple, use GA like BS. necromencor will be toasted. |
If I recall correctly, IGAs do not track. ;) However, why don't you challenge these PvPers? Action speaks louder than words after all.
