Is your character an archer or a mage, cause light armor doesn't give you much defense

actually, this is a myth (that light armor is only good for mages and archers). glass armour is a good defense level (more than you really ever need in game) and it allows you to carry more loot. furthermore, when you want to be an assassin/theif, some of your armor's weight affects how easily you can hide, not to mention how quickly you can run if you are spotted.

my assassin might not be as hardy as some other players who play straight fighters, but he wins out in any fight because he can hide, strike and do critical damage every time, outrun anything, and jump over an enemies head (bunny hopping, i dont do it though, because its cheating).

Hmhah, lol @ DalekBoy's post.
I just got myself Goldbrand, and having Azura's star for a long time I'm wondering is there any other quest of this style out there?

I'm a big fan of glass armor for any class. Its all I use early on when my characters need armor of some sort. But I train all three types plus unarmored for the skill bumps needed for maximum multiplyers,

As for quests with similar style, depends on what you mean by 'style', I suppose. There's the Spear of bitter mercy, Helm of Oryen Bearclaw, Mehrune's Razor, etc...
