IIRC if you talk to...can't remember the enchanter's name...when you've calmed him, get the disposition to 100 and he won't attack you again. I've found that he will get all worked up by your presence once the spells worn off otherwise.

Yeah that Master Enchanter is kinda wierd. I think the best way to approach him without him attacking you is to 1) not attack any of his followers on the outside of the door before you enter (worked foe me), and 2) have your personality WAY high. That seems to keep him happy while your with him. BTW after training to 100, go after that other guy below because he has an item that you might want to have. Sorry for that little spoiler for someone. In any case, just prepare for war anyway since those other creatures will attack on sight.
