Yep, need to stick to the roads when escorting. I escorted that fellow to Koal Cave and during the trip got in a fight where I accidentally hit the guy. He was near death and if he got attacked by something on the way would die on me. It was a tricky deal for a while. Regarding the lost guy. I would check the waters. I bet he slid into the water and if you look around he'll be there. I lost the stilt rider guide to Aldrun(?). He was no longer at the top of his perch...I came to find out later he apparently fell off the top of the perch and now is standing on the ground at the feet of the Stilt (giant flea thingy). Whenever I want to hitch a ride from him, I have to walk around on the ground to catch him.

I hate such quest too. I mean he can't swim, can't leviatate, can't fight well, get stuck on some stupid little rocks...

Anybody had the escort mission of an Argonain slave from deep into the Ashlands to Ebonheart basically the opposite side of the map ? That was a nightmare.

Later on I learned that escorted people actually could travel with you when you took ships, Stilts and Mage guides, that might have helped a little.

Too bad Recall does not work on them. Tried to Enchant an object and "Target/Touch" are not an option...

not to mention, incarian flight will only work on you. not on them.

I hate it when they stop following you to if you get too far away.

I was escorting Pemenic and I went through some water since it was more of a direct route, but after the fish were all dead, all he did was stand on the bottom of the ocean! I had to attack him to get him to follow me again...

i have the x box version of the game, and i managed to get that bird (no offence ladies) with the boots of blinding speed over a hill, took me ages, coz she kept getting stuck and running back and too, silly mare,

those boots are silly too, cant see a thing with them on, guess the name speaks for its self [img]smile.gif[/img]

Inactual fact, Pemenic the Trader actually has a bounty on her head by the Caldera authorities. However I couldn't find a way to turn her in.

you can't. she'll attack you if you keep talking about bounty to her.

I was thinking if I brought her back to the guards and then talked to them about her maybe I could turn her in. But its not really that important, Id rather kill her to get the boots.
