In my experience...I have played with either 3rd edition rules or no rules in this forum. Some threads are not games, but turn-based stories. The ones that are games are very loose when it comes to rules, and I believe 3rd edition is dominant. Depending on who you are playing with,,,usually you can bend the rules and have a little extra this or that...but that will be to the discretion of the others and what they are allowed to do... </font> |
Turn based stories are excellent. I was only worried about the restrictions of the game you'd play. As in if we were playing a story turn-based game with no real 'edition', could you use a skill only in 3e? Things like that, but I suppose that all depends on the Dungeon Master
