The be is best advice is be prepared, once you have died once in a battle you know what to expect. Use potions and spells before challenging the monsters. Use different tactics if you are not getting success and always use haste spells. If you can get so far as the last battle in all of these quests then you are already good enough to complete them.

The pause button is your best friend.

There are two seperate quests in druids grove. One is knocking off faldorn. The other is challenging for leadership. Your PC has to be a druid for the latter. Cernd or Jaheira can take her. I had Cernd at Level 10 or something do it. Can't remember how though. Maybe I used holy might to boost my strength (after summoning a critter or two).
