How many sub-quests are there. The three apprentinces made me a scroll of mislead and a sorry old dagger. I didn't have them try any thing else, so they left? It said they are finished, but it is still in my log. Are they done? Or should I be patient? I plan on taking off for the underdark now. There is nothing good left to do here. I've already beat all the fun stuff. (Watcher's Keep is today.) Will I lose it, like the Thief Guild, if I go to the underdark?

The quests only truly ends when one of the apprentice returns to make potions for you. There will be no notice, you have to go to the Planar Sphere yourself.

Here's the easiest method for beating a demi-lich that was posted months ago. I've used it succesfully. Whether it qualifies as a cheesy tactic, I'll leave up to you.

Buy up every Protection from Undead scroll you ever find.

When you enter Kangaxx's tomb, equip everyone in your party with a copy of the scroll.

Open the tomb and whup the Lich.

When the Demilich begins to spawn, have every party member use their protection from undead scroll. When Kangaxx appears, he does a big yawn and completely ignores everyone in your party.

Proceed to take down Kangaxx without fear of reprisal.

Works every time.
