there seems to be a bug with surray- i did 1051 damage to a wraith with it.

I don't think it's a bug. It's the games way of ensuring that the undead don't survive if they don't make their saves.

I don't know how you figure you can do all that damage without the mage dying. As I recall, that mage only has like 80 hp. So thats theoretical damage, I assume?

Anyway, for my highest damage, once I got Edwin to cast Time Stop against the group of Fallen Paladins, cast two Abi-Dalzims into the fray, a flame arrow, and two magic missles. The ensuing damage was about 400 or so. Everyone died http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...miles/wink.gif

although if youre talking NORMAL damage, id say about 170 from my regular Thief to a Yuan Ti mage

Iv'e done around 1050 with sunray, (love that sword, whatever its called.) but as far as hack and slash damage, that would have to be with my assasin, 206 backstab damage (critical hit) to a certain person in a dream in spellhold, once he walked inside, the dialouge started "how do you stand?!! this cannot be" etc... very amusing.
