No charisma wouldn't make a difference to a barbarian BUT they can't wear plate. A barbarian can only wear chain mail.

All of it seems a bit fishy to me. Not much legit about it.

Barb wearing plate mail, 2 rings of Gaxx, and wearing magic plates WITH protection items...hmmmmm...so much for "legit"...so how did the tactics work out?

That barbarian is a cheat. First of all, NO protection items can be worn with magic armor, and yet he has both? Cheat. Also, 2 Ring of Gaxx? There was a BUG in the game which did allow it, but it was fixed by a patch. Many people exploited this though and got that way 2 (pick pocket of the lich, then kill demilich). In any way, it is NOT supposed to be like this, however it's hard to dispute this since this bug existed for quite some time.

In any case, that barbarian is a cheat char, not legit. He has slapped some items on him with Shadow Keeper.

A bit like in BG1 where I gave my wisdom 18 cleric - 2 rings of Wisdom.

Okay heres the deal ive created my own char with -21 AC he a halforc fighter cleric the ring of gaxx is used cause absolutely everyone does it and i cant change that but theres a rule where you can rob the other player when you kill him. this is how you accululate the AC

Drow fullplate +5
Boots of Phasing +2
Cloak of balduran +1
Shield of Sentinel +5
Helm of Vailor +2
2 rings of gaxx +4 altogether

and you chars ac bonuses bring up the remaining 2 ac
cast righteous magic and you get a bonus +1 ac
then just cast blade barrier
armour of faith which can be cast mulitple times increasing the affects also use cromfrayer for 25 strenght and +5 THAC0 and im practically invincible MUHAHAHA well for while....

those spell tips where really good although the staff of magi wont protect from evil and will also dispel a protection from evil spell if you click on it.

So how did you get then the Drow Full Plate out of Underdark without it getting turned into the dust in legit way? You can't really. It aint on sale anywhere outside, not dropping anywhere outside, only way to get it is to use the bug in the game, cheat it in with codes or SK it on you.

As for Armor of Faith multiple casting - if it's allowed by spell desc then it's OK, if not then it's another bug in the unpatched game, or cheat/exploit in other words.

yeah amour of faith might be a bug but it does work

drow armour can be aquired by robbing other duelers or just exporting your char in underdark and maxing him out by playing multiplayer coops
