The silver pantaloons are part of the graveyard quest in SOA where a guy has been buried alive. I wont Spoil the quest for you but at the end of it Select the blackmail option and you will get the silver pantaloons(you lose 2 reputation though)

nope, thats a combination of items with a total ac bonus of 14.

and it can be improved with the bracers of dexterity, since minsc has a dire DEX rating.

Absolutely not! ;)

Think of the AC bonus you can get... with 'Sentinel' equipped you gain a +4 AC bonus. I don't think weilding any second weapon makes up for this. But again, just my opinion. Feel free to disagree [img]smile.gif[/img]

You guys are forgetting about the Cloak of the sewers which gives you another -1ac bump without conflicting with other "magical" items you're wearing...

I KNEW THE PANTALOONS DID SOMETHING!!

They looked way too cool in BG1 for them to be useless! Either that or the developers heard too much whining from players about what they were used for... Hmmm...
