To make someone Leeder: Put their portrait as the top one on the side of your screen. If there is no thing there, press 'u' or 'y' (cant remeber which) or click the hard to find little red button on the bottom of the screen. If u dont have any side bars OR one at the bottom, take a shortcut and press 'h'. The character whis portrait is up the top (your player character by default) is the leader of your party. In the quick formations, the leader is in the position shown by the white circle.
