just give sarevok a two handed sword +5 or something and you will do well
IN MY GAME THE MAX DAMAGE I SAW IN THE GAME WAS FROM SAREVOK 160 DAMAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! in one blow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

crom feyr is good but not the best.

With ToB installed:

Foebane (Bastard Sword +3, +6 damage vs. undead, shapeshifters & demons)
Urisho's Blade (or U..someone's Blade) (Wakazishi +4, electric damage)Short Sword of Mask (+4 Short Sword, 15% chance to Entangle target)

These are all available immediately in the Watcher's Keep.The first two come from the first level of the Keep, and the last can be bought outside for a mere 25kGP.

PS: I just went through this first level as my first quest... lots of fun for a Sorceror with Jahera, Minsc and Jan. The statues were a challenge since we had no weapons better than +2 8-o
