Hmmm Padan Fain is an interesting concept.

Well he would have to have some sort of proficiencies in daggers but thats all i can think of for the moment.

How about using Shadowkeeper Lan being like this:

*Being a Ranger with grandmastery in katanas and single weapon style
*In his special abilities bar having detect evil
*Permanently wearing the cloak of displacement (looks like a warder cloak)

What do you guys think?

Padan Fain I would tend to class as a Stalker dual classed into some form of spell-caster (not sure which spell selection would fit his 'abilities' best).

I agree Greystone, a stalker would fit Padan Fain quite nicely. He can hide in shadows and has access to mage spells. Only problem I see is that Fain is nowhere near the "good" allignements that a Ranger is limited to.
