Jeannada...here are some spells to cast on your party before facing the dragon:

Prot. Evil 10' Radius
Defensive Harmony
Improved Invisibility (everyone)
Resist Fear
Stoneskins (mages)
Ironskins (druids)
Blurs (mages)
Mirror Images (mages)
Chant
Bless
These are just some of the major ones.

Also, any protections from spells (as the dragon can cast limited spells.) Something like Glove of Invulnerability would be good for your mages, Shield of the Arcane for clerics.

As far as protecting yourself from Maze, cast Spell Immunity (I don't remember the school of magic Maze is - maybe Abjuration?)

The Shadow Dragon spews out a level draining breath attack. May want negative plan protection as well

the breath is a temporary level drain. a dragon won't use its breath attack as long as something (like summoned fodder) is engaging it in melee.

general dragon fighting tip: attackers should be spaced around it so that a spell or wing buffet doesn't take out all of them at once.
