There is really only one evil party (suck) viconia, edwin, haerdalis, Jan, Korgan.

Korgan is a great tank, viconia is a great cleric, edwin is simply the best mage in the game.... Jan and Haerdalis aren't great, Jan has good thieving abilities, but lacks hit points, his dialogues are good though... Haerdalis has some good attacks and defences, but has very few hit points, as an evil sorceror (I like the idea, very ad & d) you'll find this a tough group as you'll lack another solid tanker. Viconia does come good, but is a bit lightweight and is more suited to charms and confusion spells, Haerdalis can be used as a good blocker finisher but is really only a bit player... unfortunately these are the only characters that fit into the evil subset. Still you get Korgan and Edwin, so it makes it all worthwhile...

Will Minsc stay in the evil party? He's my Favorite to this point, and would not want to lose him. What about keeping Yoshimo till you can get Iomen back, she'll probably stay in your party, after all you did rescue her.

Imoen is the one NPC that will never leave you, no matter how low your reputation goes. I think Minsc will only leave if your rep gets down to 3 or so.

Think of it like this. Evil parties don't flock down the street in groups of six or greater. Four, in my opinion, is enough. Since evil-aligned characters are the stronger and funner to play, then you don't need as many NPC's to join you. Viconia, Edwin, and Korgan are enough, IMHO. Viconia gives you all your Cleric needs, Edwin all your Mage needs, and Korgan all your Tank needs. Depending on your character, this is a well balanced group (you could throw in a Thief in there, but it isn't needed).

What about Jaheira or Cernd. They're both True Neutral and I believe that they'll stay in an evil party.
