Nope.

Golden Pantaloons in BG, Silver Pantaloons in BG2. You can find the notes in the Asylum, the coded "memos" from the crazy mage of WereWolfe Isle (I forget his name) He hands you the same one over and over, but if you have the GOLDEN pantaloons from BG, he will give you a different "memo" after a few. Crack the codes, and you get some cryptic messages regarding the pantaloons. "ALWAYS keep the pantalonns." is part of it. The note tells you to talk to the queen, and hints of a third pair.

Hopefully, the guy who snuck this in is still on the team, I'm anxious to see the outcome.

anyway I DON"T know how this got of topic BUT yes with those 2 items from BG1 on KELDORn he will hit on Edwin (for me this happened sometime after talking to Elhan right after you leave the Underdark!!) THIS IS AN EASTER EGG!!!

The vampires revenge is a completely useless longsword that is
the hardest weapon to find in the whole series, it was designed
to kill the wielder in close combat by making him pathetic. It
required completely random things to assemble it, these were;
an idol of Kronos, a book and something else i cant rerember.
The pantaloons are still the greatest mystery in the entire series.
A man took the gold pantaloons from you in bg1 saying "i take this
from you to show you a lesson", perhaps he in bg2.

Oh yeah about the pantaloons thing..
In BG2 to get the silver pantaloons you have to pose as a kidnapper..but when the guy that appears with the pantaloons talks to you, he lets it slip that the real kidnappers "agreed" upon the pantaloons as a ransom. Therefore, they wanted the pantaloons, or had some use for them..sorta like..you're cutting into another adventuring group's quest thats separate from yours but still in the same region and you won't find out the real deal till u get like..bronze pantaloons or something. Its like those other groups you meet during the game..each with their own agenda and motives..its so cool, it's like all these adventures going on in real time while you go do your own quests..reminds you that you arent the only adventurers in town (just the best and the most well-equipped)

Whats my point to this meaningless post?
When you get the bronze pantaloons, you'll be able to bring them to Cromwell and forge a metal alloy that when applied to hide armor makes it a battlesuit akin to Venom's symbiotic armor.

I'd love to solve that mystery though. The pantocrator will return! Lol, pantocrator... How drunk was the guy that came up with this? Probably not as drunk as I was when I wrote my essay about 'planet of the sandwiches'... I'll remember that my entire life :o.

Anyhoo gimme those nickle pantaloons already, so we can forge them lot into the Pantaloons Plate +47.
