As good as the sentient sword is, and as funny as his insatiable bloodlust is...I'll have to go with Blackrazor, Celestial Fury pulling up a close second. And for armor I'll say the Bladesinger Mail. For best accessory I'll say Ring of Gaxx. Red Dragon Scale rocks. It counts as leather armour for my Avenger druid, and it isn't considered a magic item, so I can give her the +2 cloak, which gives her an AC of -10. She kicks serious butt! Also, Staff of the High Woods and Everard's sling makes any druid a killing machine...they'd better give the druid level forty in the expansion....>=D

armor? prolly blade singer, i like gorgon plate on viconia alot
ring? ring of gaxx BY FAR
necklace? amulet of power! negative plane prot., nice.
the most useful item in the game would have to be bag of holding, though

Bag of holding is in the first area of the asylums maze.
Its in a room guarded by a golem.

Weapon: Fists
Armour: None
Belt: Girdle of Frost Giant Strength
Other: Bag of Holding

This combination is pretty powerful, not technically as good as Crom Faeyer or some of the +4 weapons, but its incredibly fast.

Any bow or other weapon that doesn't need ammo is a big weight off my mind. When I need them, my missile weapons are there. Gesen's shortbow, Tansheron's shortbow, the sling of Everard... gotta love 'em.

As far as sword goes, um... definitely, unreservedly, without a doubt: Carsomyr, the Holy Avenger. A paladin with this sword can wield it and become incredibly hard. Not just that, but if you have it, it's yours by right; you look at this sword and you can say, 'I EARNED this. I did something incredible to get it and it is mine, given to me. I did not steal it, I did not claim it in the abscence of any oter wielder... this is MY sword. Fear it, and fear me."
