pretty interesting, i think.
thru both games, i haven't met anyone who really distinguishes between good and bad drow. most just see them as walking loot and kos. hasn't that been drizzt's problem since leaving the underdark?
keldorn has gained a tad more respect in my eyes. i mean, when i found out about his personal life, i saw him as a pathetic figure. changing the world for the better, but destroying any semblance of familial respect and love.

Lord Shield? That is a good point - but in BG1, Jaheira and Khalid will attack & kill Monteron and (I forget his name) his wizardly pal when they, too, have done no wrong. Just because they are evil-aligned. But there are usually warning signs before it happens, so you can ditch anyone liable to get killed if you want to.
When creating or adding to a team, it is a good idea NOT to have opposite-aligned team members! Or, if you want to keep your good members, not to commit evil actions, lol! http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif
Anyway, I LIKE Keldorn! And I always let him go home to his wife pretty early http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...les/tongue.gif

Since we are talking about Keldorn I would like to notify you all of a bug with Keldorn and Anomen, if you have Keldorn and Anomen in your party, and Anomen dies in the Underdark, and you drag his corpse and his stuff all the way back to Athkatla, then rez him in a temple, he and Keldorn will leave the party and attack each other, then if you kill Anomen while they are fighting like I did, you can no longer have Keldorn in your party, you can get him to join but he leaves half a nano-second later.

They attack for no reason cause they belong to that panzy ass group the harpers that think they can judge everyone. To top it off they are 2 on 1ing him those cowards.khalid, jaheira, and keldorn=dirty pantaloons.

Well, Caleb, all I can say is that with your attitudes you should ALWAYS play EVIL, lol! http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...hterpurple.gif And make sure you don't hire any GOOD pc's to your team! http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...es/biggrin.gif

I could be mistaken here and feel free to correct me if Im wrong but I seem to remember from reading all those DM manuals years ago that lawful good and chaotic evil will ALWAYS clash. Its like Minsc has a racial enemy (cant remember what it is though) and other classes can have racial enemies which they get bonuses for attacking along with penalties by said enemies. But its really not a good idea to have both good and evil characters in your party because of basic personality conflicts and then theres the conflicts of interest.

As for what someone said about good attacking evil when the evil npc hadnt commited any evil acts is a mute point. Good will Always attack evil no matter where it lies and visa versa. Its called mutual hatred. the Age Old Battle. Natural Enemies.

I say let em rip eachotehrs throats out.

You the biggest kid on the block..hardly.
Have you been to the Twisted rune?
How could you take on eveery high level creature you see. Did you kill the silver dragon as well?!
Sign...
unless you are playing an evil party, otherwise why have Keldorn anyway.
Why don't you kill Ribald and Elminster while you are at it?
I wish Khalid wasn't dead? irrelevant.
