no, its not like that at all. its not cheating. your just having your character cast "extra-planar assistance" which causes permanant stat increases. this is accomplished by gaining the assistance of the magical powers of the semi-deity called "Player" who resides in completly different dimension called "The ReelWrld". who then uses the vast powers at his disposal to assist the character.
if the power is availible why not use it?
