The crom faer(fayer?) war hammer will work him just as good as the holy avenger. The cutthroat and backstabbing shortswords are +4, the bone dagger is +4, and I THINK the equalizer may be able to hit him but I never use it so I dont know.

Take the Mace of Disruption and Illithium to Cromwell. After upgrade, it will make Kangaxx explode

illithium is that the special rock u get for that artist i cant remember i dont usually bother doing that side quest?

Yes, the metal you get for Sir Sarles. Get the illithium and the illithium alloy, but make sure you upgrade the mace before talking to Sir Sarles (or hide the illithium in a chest) because otherwise you give him the real illithium and get stuck with the alloy. Not knowing this until after saving, I'm STILL stuck with the damn alloy. Can't upgrade the mace with alloy!
