Yum. Just had to download the Raistlin set

I must admit, i was tempted to learn how to draw sprites, to use Infinity Explorer, to re-write the scripts - just, one day, to be able to use Guybrush Threepwood - hero of the 'Monkey Island' series - in Baldur's Gate. It's ideas like that, I feel, that have a kind of lasting appeal.

Hmm. If I was to do up a fictional character I would say John Constantine (Hellblazer comics)

Tancred 05-04-2001 08:27 PM

Constantine! There's a thought! A Cleric, possibly, Chaotic Good, laden down with Summon Undead and the occasional Gate spell? Cool!

Doesnt really matter in baldurs gate games cause they dont make you roleplay your alignment anyway.

Yes, but a Chaotic Evil Paladin can't become fallen and can use the Unholy Reaver. I dont' know about the Holy Avenger (haven't gotten to that part in the game yet.

To create an Anti-Paladin make a normal Paladin (whose character name is Anti-Paladin -- corny, but this way you get to use the Unholy Reaver) and then go into Shadowkeeper and change the following:

Race changes to value 0x98 (an unknown value)
Alignment changes to Chaotic Evil
Kit is listed as none

Enjoy all of the Paladin abilities without having to be Mr./Ms. Goody-two-shoes.

I wonder if a chaotic-evil anti-palladin still gets the pally stronghold, that would be funny.

Don't know. I can e-mail you the character and you could try it to find out. Or you could wait until I get that far. It may be a month or so, since I'm in the middle of IWD.
