As far as the story goes, Edwin should pick it up automatically after the battle as party of the mini plot, and you won't find it in the inventory of any of the party members (including Edwin) since Edwin is suppose to keep the scroll all to himself.

Don't tell me more please. I would like to surprised ( if there is any surprise).

How long are you ment to wait for the second part of his quest? Killed the lich played for ages, the romace thread stared and has nearly ended and still nothing.

I think it might be random triggered. Most of my games with Edwin had the Nether Scroll quest sequence began couple of weeks(game time).

I advise you one thing
Stay in Chapter 5/6 as long as possible
I didn't and i missed out on Viconia's Romance and Edwins Quest
