I got the harper pin from terminsel right after(or right before?I cant remember)the final showdown with bodhi where viconia is if you dump her from the party.
I kept getting the same conversation threads with jaheira too. Maybe the designers thought you would be done with the game by this point or wanted to wait for the expansion to further the romances.
