Is the flail worth the trouble of "cheating"?
Is it any good? |
The disappearance of the treasure's not a bug as far as I know.
Yes, the Flail is definitely worth the 'trouble' of cheating, esp. in a lower level party. Viconia is really good with it BTW. I used it for my cleric in the first game. ------------------ Melusine, Archbabe of the OHF and the LH http://www.angelfire.com/anime2/memnoch/mel1.gif Your voice is ambrosia |
+3 flail
+1 fire dam. +1 cold dam (of this one I'm not sure). +1 acid dam. And cast slow on target with each hit. Not the best weapon of the game but a very good one. |
In that case, Melusine i would be really happy if you could assist me in "Aquiring" this item by using Shadowkeep...
|
OK BP, here goes:
First, you download Shadowkeeper here. Then, when you have installed it and opened the program, choose the Item browser (the button which says IB). Scroll through the items until you find the part of the flail you're missing. Now, you can do two things: 1. Open your save game in SK and go to the inventory of your main character. Find a free slot, and click where it says: Assign item to ... (don't know if I'm getting all the phrases exactly right...). You'll get a list of all the items. Pick the flail part and assign it to your character. Save under a different name (i.e. Save Game edited 0001 for instance) and close the SK screen. Now, when you open BG and load your game, the part will be in your inventory. 2. In the Item Browser, check the code that is behind the flail part (for example, the code for an Identify scroll is SCRL75). Write the code down, close Shadowkeeper and load your game. Now press Ctrl + Spacebar. You'll be able to enter cheat codes in the little bar that has popped up. Type this: CLUAConsole:CreateItem("XXXXXX") and instead of the Xes fillin the item code for the flail head. Press enter and it will be in your inventory. You can use this for all the items in the game (although I'm wouldn't want to encourage you...http://www.tgeweb.com/ironworks/cgi-...s/biglaugh.gif ). Simply look up the code in Shadowkeeper and insert it for the XXXXXX. Don't forget to put the quotation marks around it. If you want multiple copies of an item, type CLUAConsole:CreateItem("XXXXXX", a) and replace 'a' with the number required. Hope this helps! ------------------ Melusine, Archbabe of the OHF and the LH http://www.angelfire.com/anime2/memnoch/mel1.gif Your voice is ambrosia |

just quickly you can actually pick up the flail head in the goloms room without being attacked just don't pick up the other items in there.
|
Bruce, sorry mate but the problem BP is experiencing is this:
After you get the keep for a stronghold, the treasure will disappear! So there is no more treasure in the Golem Room ------------------ Melusine, Archbabe of the OHF and the LH http://www.angelfire.com/anime2/memnoch/mel1.gif Your voice is ambrosia |
When i replay the game i will make sure that i take the flail part FIRST http://www.tgeweb.com/ironworks/cgi-...iles/smile.gif
