Stromshield is a nice special ability you get when Priest of Talos reaches lvl 10 and you can cast lighting bolts.

Well he is a Cleric, not a fighter http://www.tgeweb.com/ironworks/cgi-...es/biggrin.gif

Indeed, clerics and mages are like the artilleries of the game, they fire good damages (and should try to keep away from enemies) but let your soldiers do the dirty work (up close and personal). http://www.tgeweb.com/ironworks/cgi-...es/biggrin.gif

I always have Vic, Edwin, Korgan, and Jan in my evil group. The last spot i sometimes like to fill with a premade or evin Artemis Entreri (after lowering his AC that is)

Are high-level clerics as bad-ass as high-level mages? Never really played a cleric character but wonder if his spell juice can be as powerful defensively / offensively as that of a mage at high levels. Thanks...

Clerics are generally more into healing/resurrecting or good/evil smiting spells, they fight average in melee and can wear heavy armors. Although they have several spells that are very good IMO: firestrom, earthquake, earth elemental, sunray ... etc. But in terms of pure spellcasting wise, I still think mages have better spells simply due to the choices of spells a mage has (e.g. time stop, spell strike, imprisonment, simulacrum, Abi-Dalzim's Horrid Wilting ...etc, just to name a few).

What about the evil monk character? Or the evil ranger / cleric?

I've also decided that the characters in the party will be Viconia, Jan, Korgan, and Edwin. Who do you think a good 6th player should be? Has to be evil or neutral, which makes for a pretty limited choice. Have played Jaheira before and know how to play her well, but am looking for a new player to try out (1st time through was all-good team...J, Minsc, Aerie, Imoen, and Keldorn).

Go pure evil. Chaotic Evil Necromancer. Roleplay it and memorize a lot of death and finger of death spells. Sure is fun to anihilate everyone in temple district.

I played a women, let Anomen fall in love with her, and then made him fail his test of knighthood. Haha. Then after he failed, I told him go ahead and kill everyone in the radiant heart.

If I were making an evil party, I'd go with a fighter type for your main character. There are a lot of neutral and evil spellcasters, but only one fighter (Korgan).
