1. To maximize your gaming experience. For some people, cheating or creating godlike characters is where they derive fun - don't make them feel guilty for it. As you said, everyone plays the game their own way. Not having the Hand of Dace would've been a game-ending scenario for el_kalk, I doubt if he would've liked that. Remember the point of the game is to have fun! 2. For testing, customizing and debugging purposes Shadowkeeper is great. It's especially great for testing various scenarios involving global variables. Hope this answers your question. ------------------ http://www.angelfire.com/anime2/memnoch/genwalk.gif Memnoch - Custodian of the Holy Flame http://www.angelfire.com/anime2/memnoch/fire3.gif |
Giving that extra edge when every thing you've tried failed...
Or just to test some powerful weapon to see whether it's worth getting it legitmately (e.g. Celestial Fury, Casomyr +5, Equaliser) ------------------ A Drawn Sword; A Trickle Of Blood; The Tempest Is Brewing. Nemesis.... |
Yes, the shadowkeeper is a great tool to fix all the bugs in the game or to test out weapons etc.
I was just wondering about one thing. Quote:
