i have a ranger who is dualwielding long swords and katanas
as i played the first and the second time through the game i realized that there arent many bastard swords so i choose long swords, they do a little bit lesser damage but dont have that 1 penalty for speed so they are kinda neat now im dualwielding celestial fury and daystar, soon ill get the equalizer and then im gonna kick ass |
yup

Monk - with gloves of crushing, daystar when fighting undead, and blade of roses when dealing with people. Scarlet Ninja-to is o.k. early on, but bare-handed is the way to go normally.

Well my necromancer dualwield daggers but that is no fun
My kensai Mage has 5* on katana's and 3* on two weapon style He dual wield Celetial fury(i have no fighter so my kensai/mage gets the best weapons) and Dak'kon zerth sword |
Kensai-mage: 2 in katana, 2 in axe (for the azure edge), 3 in dual wield. (A mistake since Zarathan's sword can't be unequipped or you lose the spells, Keldorn should learn to throw the axe);
Blade: 1 in long sword, 1 in crossbow; 3 in dual wield; next point in flails. Fighter-thief: 2 in katana, 2 in long sword (seldom used), 2 in crossbow, working on halberds. |
