Yes I've noticed. All higardi that join are human. I think they really are just Humans, but with a different name. Like people are Nordic and Spanish, they are higardi.

With the editor can you make a party from there or do you creat the party in the game then change them here?
If you can creat them in the ed. where do you get the portraits from etc?

You have to have a game save to open into the editor. You can change the characters, though, once you do that. There is a button to download characters (and upload yours...) but i haven't checked that out.
There's also a portrait editor...

im new to these forums but am a long time wiz8 player. but anyway, i have the editor and i tried giving my fighter 2 light swords and it worked.. but when i tried giving him 2 mystery rays one either dissapeard or went into his inventory...any help?

...you mean a light sword in the secondary, and it stayed there???
I would expect it to go into inventory, as the ray did, if you put them in your fighter's hands...
