The powerpacks are definently for the Frontier Phaser & Mystery Ray.

A few people just dont realize that one of these guns holds soemthing like 30ammo and the other holds 13ammo. So it doesnt require re-equipping ammo like the other modren guns. (i used to use the F.P often when i was bored & fighting android types).
