Hey Tarlanon,
it is comforting that you a) do not quit b) work on bug fixes which is really the most important thing in my opinion. By the way, do you know which bug fixes are done in the (presumably last? :( ) update of CocoaSpud? Let's hope that you two do not work in the same bug fixes independently! |
Good catch Dinonykos.
Here's what CocoaSpud sent me: Quote:

I live and die by what is in the sourceforge controls (bugs tracker, cvs, etc.) for guidance in what I work on. Even if we were working on the same fix, when I did the diff before checking my part in I would see the updates 'Spud made. Or he would see mine.
Either way, those aren't any of the ones I have been looking at yet. My attentions have been fixed on the irksome combat code. Speaking of 'Spud's departure though....Who is going to be building and packaging the new releases of DC these days? |
Here's another snippet from the above quoted email from Mr. Turner:

If you want, I can forward it to you. I'm sure he wouldn't mind. |
It is nice to read that you (Tarlanon ) are working on the combat code. At the moment I am especially disturbed by the fact that legions of monsters are able to stand at the same spot together with a party members dead body. That's really irksome (thanks for this english vocabulary, I haven't known that word so far... ).
By the way, I'm still not sure if the current release of DC allows to flee from combat - every time I try the party dies. Is that a bug or is it perhaps due to a D&D rule I do not know? |
Does the whole party die? Or, just the people left behind?
If the whole party dies, it's a bug. If the latter, that's the way it's supposed to be. |
