Woo hoo!

I just got the Go ahead from CocoaSpud to do the 'art show'! Sounds like if we hurry, we might even be able to get something into the next release (which he is planning for around the end of November).

I will be able to host the contest at on my homepage, so that shouldn't be an issue for now.

I think because of time contraints, we should keep this 1st contest simple and short. And I think it should focus on the area of the DC art set that is most lacking right now, which is Character (PC) combat icons. Currently there are only 2 for DC right now.

As always, comments and suggestions are welcome here. I hope to have the basic site and contest details ready by the end of next week (11/12/04), so get your paintbrushes started!

Sounds like a plan! I've been working on and off of icons and wallsets, and think it would be great to get this started. I personally do not use png. I strictly use TGA, as all game companies do. I have been working in trueSpace 6, and have a cool way to render out stuff in ANY format now. So whatever the resolution, I can simply enter that res, and render it out! :D

I'm getting back into my 'art mode' as well!!!
