Higher resolutions are supported, 800x600 and 1024x768. The artwork for this is not included in the installer due to size, but here is the link

This includes all default art and a configuration tool that switches between each resolution (about 4MB). The engine goes up to 1024x768 but the editor can go higher. The higher res settings just give you a larger map area though.
