Once, after lots of re-plays, I got a total of 97 points, after lots of re-rolls, with a ranger character. This, plus the - - -SPOILER - - - the books that increase your status took me to a final total of 103 points!

You put CON to 18 all the time? You only need to make it 18 if you are a fighter, other than that 16 is fine.(Only fighter benifits from an 18 constitution hp bonus)

Highest ever was all 18's for me, with one 9 (18/95 Str!). I was playing a cleric/ranger, and my only 9 was in INT. The character took all of the tomes, and was always the party leader.

Con can only go down permanently in a certain section of this game's sequel.

Any other time it'll be part of some item effect, and generally non permanent... identify all protection scrolls before using.
