I love Stargate too, so what the heck has changed in the new ones???
Please tell me they havnt removed the original characters...

I meant to watch it. The ads looked good, and I loved the original, but I never did. Without the original cast it didn't seem worth it... those of you that did watch it, do you recommend it to me?

stargate is great. haven't seen any of atlantis yet though, but my friends say it is good

Well the new Stargate Atlantis is a whole lot different to the normal stargate.... the normal stargate is still going to be showing as well as the stargate atlantis.
But in the atlantis series there is all new characters and a different story line.
