Seeing it tonite with some friends....

By the gods!! Just found out our local theatre won't air the bloody flick... Now I have to go to the Pate cinema in Grûningen with superior sound, superior visuals and better seats! Life is so, so hard.......

Saw it, loved it. The best revenge movie ever, and volume two has yet to arrive... so awesome.. i loved it.

In case you couldn't clue into this, the only reason there was anime in there was to keep the rating from hitting nc-17. There's no way a scene could have a kid riding a pedophile that promptly kill's him in 'free action' cinema and still keeps an R, it had to be cartoon and it works perfectly.

I agree with everything else you say, fantastic film. best revenge movie ever.

Yeah i do.. but i also wonder how much anime is inspired by old Toho films which seem to be more of the muse for Kill Bill than anything else.
