i think, snails was resurrected by ridley.. did anybody catch tom baker as the elf wizard... those who dont know who tom baker is, he was one of the original Doctor Who's, during the late 70's to mid/late 80's... also did anybody know what exactly ridley's profession will be after the ending??? sounds like he will be a mage or something.. any thoughts????

"I found it weird how Snails died early in the movie."

You found it weird that the black sidekick died??? You must not watch many movies.

My friend had a dvd of this film and one of the outakes was when ridley was on his own at snail's grave and no red stone. In that ending nothing happened and snail stayed dead. Does anyone think this is better? I have mixed views, 'cos it's kinda cool that he lives again, but then there was no point in his sacrifice.

I just though it was pretty pointless. Why didn't they just keep him alive?

He sacrified himself to give the scroll to Ridley. Had to die!

Plus, it made the movie seem less childlike!

They shouldn't have made it seem childlike in the first place
Oh well, it was fun to watch it once, although I won't have to see it again.

There is no point writing comments like this if you cant be bothered to explain them.

Oh.. he sacrificed himself!

I saw it ages ago when it came out at the movies

That's why I can't remember much of it
