What is needed is more manners, simple as that really. I have lost count of the number of times someone as joined the server while I am on a stone run or quest and just taken what I have invested time into achieving. Maybe I have even done this myself without thinking, but I do know for sure that I share Robs pain in this matter.

Just a polite request that people when they join the server with other players onboard just spend a few moments asking the other players what there plans are.

A point was made that it's all about "I had a good time, and that's all that matters". I wholeheartedly agree with that statement, until one player's fun interferes with another's. PK'ers could use the argument that it's fun for them to run around killing other players too. It probably is, but it's not much fun for their victims.
