EDIT: Just finished my first run on server vault. Z was watching so it was pretty fun since he helped me out a couple of time but leveling up is easy. I got to level 10 or 11 in about 2-3 hours of fun. Some advice Explore the inn with you low level character. There is lots of gold and Exp to be found there!

Also watch out for halaster he is a sneaky bugger appearing here there and everywhere. Even in Khelbens Tower LOL!

Also Z if you can put up on the website our characters and our current levels that would be great!

hmmmmm you should be glad z was watching out for you.as a level 7 fighter i found all opponents to be rated impossible to kill.there was no gold or experience to be had in the in other than the donation of 10 gold pieces.i clicked on all boxes and all objects and found nothing in them.having an armor class of 14 and armed with a short sword,and having maybe 100 pieces of gold tops. i could not afford to try to buy decent eq.so yeah if you enjoy impossible odds i say you are bound to have a load of fun.will try it again later today when i might get lucky and find some gold to eq this poor dwarf with. ahh good fun.. it was hard at the start with no gold and everything. its a good thing i found a nice little dagger hidden somewhere searching around the inn which gave me 60th which helped me kickstart. i lost count how many times i died at lvl 1 with those blasted drow till i got stronger. still, i got what i wanted. i now have a cleric/defender rumbling around lvl 1 and 2. ready to lend a hand.. and trying to get stronger.

oh yeah.. one thing that is kinda annoying Z, is that all the treasure chest and stash are always getting looted so it is pretty hard for newbies to go around with gold unless they start killing people which they are too weak to begin with. lvl 1 is nearly completely empty. the only reason i got 200thousand is because of the secret area at lvl 2 ;) which no one was interested to explore in.

Aye Harkoliar it is indeed good fun [img]smile.gif[/img] for us dwarves but i do feel a little pity for those who are not fortunate to be one of moradins chosen [img]smile.gif[/img]

Yeah, I plan to add to Durnan's train option to give new users 100000 gold to start out with. This will give them enough gold to buy some good armor, weapons and other items.

I'll add it NOW so it'll take effect for new players while they are level 1. I will give anyone that is already level 7+ the gold if you need it as I DM.

I'll be lighting fireworks tonight till 9:45PM, so I won't be DMing till atleast then [img]smile.gif[/img]

I must admit that I completly LOOTED the inn last night. LOOTED the Secret underground hallway. LOOTED Khelban Tower LOL.

Z was watching me the whole time and we were having a good old laugh.

Managed to find some nice items with my fighter/rouge. A really Kickarse Necklace in the inn that gives a +5 Natural Armour class bonus That definatly helped.

Good change. I was always sorta depressed whenever I logged in, no one was online, or they were all on level 13 and had 800 hitpoints and loads of uber items. I'll try to play a bit more. It's hard to tear myself away from SW:Galaxies though. [img]smile.gif[/img]

I must say sine the change I ahve seen more pople on and we are in Early Days.

Maybe you should advertise on the Bioware Website to let eveyone know of the change?
