I know.. CRAP! I REMEMBER making it a 'two-way' door too! :( Sorry about that! I have fixed that, and added tons to the level.

I am also adding and sometimes changing some areas of the levels 1-5 too! So even though you've been through a level, look again! you will find changes and new treasures sometimes!

Love what you have added. The only down side was that my connection failed TWICE - both times in Khelben's tower and both times with lot's of nice loot. MAJOR bummer!!!!

Awe, man. Yeah, drop outs suck. :( Damn, the Mod is PACKED! most times I check in on the game, it has like 13 people playing!! And lots of users are repeat visitors, so that tells me they like it (I hope!)

I have yet to finish Blackstaff's tower. I'm thinking if I should allow people to visit Blackstaff himself... show I? and if so, what should he do for players? Ideas!!?

Well, at least I now know that I was not doing something stupid and the upper levels were not finished.

The dropouts wouldn't have been so bad but I got lucky and got into the server when it was EMPTY (except for you) both times! It wasn't a problem - I just re-entered at a different time and eventually recovered the loot.

Why NOT put Blackstaff and "friends" up in the tower? Mirt is included. Perhaps we could even run into the "Lords of Waterdeep" en masse. It would be a great way to introduce another quest line - maybe a rescue mission, the recovery of one of Khelben's items stolen by Halaster, or perhaps a party needs to close down one of Halaster's "portals" that is being particularly troublesome or even a mixture of the three. In fact, the portal could even be inside waterdeep itself and NOT in the underdark which would give you a link to developing the city. The rewards could include a healthy dose of xp and some special items.

Well, those who are going to reach Khelben would be of fairly high level. I'd say give them a choice of items from a unique 'Blackstaff' set, strip them of lots of XP and levels, and kick them back to the upper levels. Then they can try to fight their way down again and earn another item, and lvl 20 characters can actually advance in skill again

Legolas,

I would rather just take another new character thru the dungeon - some people (myself included) would rather NOT have their 20th level characters stripped of xp. I like the idea of introducing Khelben into the mod though. Surely there must be SOMETHING that Khelben is just too busy to do himself.

Ziroc,

If you are going to implement the "Wizard teleporter" for levels beyond lvl 8, why not ALSO use that as an opportunity to break the module into chapters at that point. That would make the load sizes of the various chapters smaller and make the total mode more manageable. I don't think you would lose any continuity in quests, but I could be wrong. I'm not an expert on mod design.
