Ross, all i have to say, is "please, don't." It's so chessy it's not even worth it. Besides, (just for you, Six) the "quest" doesn't even make any damn sense! For no reason would you take this man/ghost those two items. Arrgh!

spoil us please... Ive done BG1 several times already and Im just after things Ive never found before. Also is there anything worth importing into BG2 other than laundry ?

You know the ancient armor you can get in the Firewine Ruins? The one you're supposed to give to the dead ghost? Instead, keep it, and give it to Ulcaster along with the idol for the vampiric sword.

Which one? I've always seen that sword as pretty much worthless.

Me being subtle: Everything about this quest/glitch/bug </u><font color=red size=6 face="old english text mt">SUCKS.</font></u>

It, and the programmers that wrote it, should be dragged out into the street, shot 6 times, soaked in gasoline, and burned where they lie, as a warning to all future rancid pustules of ruinous, lice-infested, thoughtless excuses for "quests."

If I were a moderator, I would have closed this thread right after my previous post. I am not kidding. I'm all for freedom of the press, but there are some things that just NEED to be buried.

Correct. Trust me, everyone is actually better off NOT knowing.

I have to disagree with you, SoS. I believe everybody should do this 'quest' - if only to be able to say:

"WTF!! ....... hmmmm.... at least it can't get any worse than this."

Afterwards you can follow SoS's suggestions

*bows head in shame* Sorry I mentioned it maybe I should hold my tongue next time

Having read all that right...it still doesn't seem to be any logic in it,
why would anyone suddenly think of handing over an ancient armour, a (history) book and a statue of kozgah to the Ulcaster ghost in order to get a vampiric sword??? there has to be some sort of hint like from a scroll? or book or from a character you met along the way...Otherwise there is just no way anyone would do that as there is no logical connection?!
Please enlighten me if you could.
